Hello to all, my topic here is to remind some of you about pool, real pool that is........when the game is played with intensity, daring, skill, safety and must of all grace to win and to lose the game.
It seems to me that over the years of having been involved with pool at the root (league play and tournaments) there is still a strong group out there that seems to trash pool and blame the stay of affairs on certain people, and by all means I agreed so lets fix what is broken ok?
First of all you run some tournaments where you put your time all 8-12 hours to a chair for free, then listen to all the complaints that arise during that time, make judgement calls when needed, eat crap food during the day if no the week end and make sure everyone is happy b/c you are the last one home and empty handed on top........ohhh, you owe a bill still!!!
Ps, don't forget to add money to atract more players
Now if that is not your cup of tea here ia one other...........
Seat in a boot with some one else or alone for the duration of a tournament (few days some times) again suffering for seating posture (hard, cool, metal seat) and critique the wonderful people that devote their time to give blow by blow account of what is going on........with the exception of a few proffesional who by the way make a living of doing this the vast mayority do it for free!!!!!!! FREE
