to push through or take a break

Hey what do you guys do in this situation, say those who have a table at home and time to play it. If you play most evenings, and usually do good, then you have a day where you get home wanting to shoot around, but get to the table and can't seem to make anything. Probably related to stress level, would this be a good opportunity to work at giving your game more focus and continueing until you find your shot, or do you take the night off, or even a couple nights off and come back when less is on your mind? Off nights have been happening a lot lately because of big changes at work that amim stressed about no doubt.

Hopefully pool can be something to get your mind off the stress. Try starting your play with some basic stroke drills using a specific pres shout routine to get your mind on pool and off work, and to get your stroke honed in. I thonk you will find that you will play much better doing this first.

Well got back to the table last night, and thus time spent an hour doing drills and easy shots focusing on my stroke only, then moved to cuts and leaves. Definant improvement over last night, but never caught high gear. I'm gonna take tonite and tomorrow off, and get back to the table Saturday, I've been playing a lot last couple weeks, probably 3-4hrs a day+. I'll see if the break helps
