Hopefully a compromise can be found but I hope the players stand together whatever happens. They need to let it be known that everyone, promoters, players, tournament directors etc. must do what they say they are going to do nothing less is acceptable.
Dom, they need to start somewhere everything else has failed miserably. This action is at least notice to all that they are attemting to get organised and will not stand for the usual BS. If you think a new generation coming along willi miraculously be able to resolve things because they are simply a new generation you are mistaken. They need leadership, integrity, business acumen, negotiating skills and they need a brand to sell. That takes time and hard work, you must start somewhere.
Unfortunately the pool world is not somewhere you automatically think of finding those things in abundance, although they are in truth there, just not organised, in great depth or given the chance to flourish. If we don't think that, imagine the average 'man on the street's' view of where we are.
