Has anyone heard or seen Tony Watson lately? Have not heard from him in awhile now.

Just Wondering....
 
This is from a 3rd party, but a fairly reliable source, so I'm just repeating hearsay.

Someone said that he was caught with a considerable amount of drugs in Hickory, NC. He apparently was delivering them to someone for someone and was pulled over by the police. He was taken to jail. I have not heard if he is still in or out of jail yet.

I apologize to Tony for reporting this if it is not true, but again, the news is from a reliable souorce.

That's terrible. Such a waste of extreme talent. I loved watching Tony play. I hope he gets his life together. Somewhat of the same happened to another pool great...Dennis Hatch.
 
It is sad, and my hear goes out to any pool player or non-poolplayer that has a substance abuse issue. I wish each and everyu one of them a full and complete recovery.

That aside, though, it's always disturbing when any high profile pool-player gets caught up in substance abuse. Sadly, some of the all-time greats had substance abuse problems, and it has hurt our game's image.

Man i hope that he did not get put in cause of that shit .But the is the risk u take when u get hook up in that shit.Sorry TW hope the story is not true .But if it is so keep your head up ..
