Looks really good. Can you show some pics of it packed up and ready to travel?

Just pulled an overnighter to get this unit ready to take with me to New York, i was able to fit the entire lathe with all the extra tooling and cue repair supplies that fit seemlessly into all the bin compartment on top, so I can demo the unit and even maybe make few $$ doing repairs.
I will post fully assembled pictures of this specific unit tomorrow. It prefect for flying, since the whole box is small enough and weight under 40lb with all the extras, so I usually rap it with 3 layers of bubble wrap and check it in as a second language.
Best Regards

Very nice

No matter what anyone says, I think that looks great. Outstanding idea. I hope you have it at the upcoming SBE. That looks so good it almost makes me want to start doing repair work so I can justify buying it.

Here is the best news that I have posted yet, every Tool Box cue lathe owner l, ll, and lll can upgrade to the bench top attachment, the lathe attachment method is still the same as all the previous Tool Box models cue. Here is a picture of the lathe flipped on it's side to show the bench top footings. The picture will also show the new double joint for the dovetail, the first 5/8" thick aluminum stock with alinement groves through the bottom of the dovetail and the second joint is 6" dovetail that joints the 2 U-channel all the way thru to the top dovetail. The result is a very solid I-beam like structure that makes the whole bed just as good as a one piece bed with a full U-channel.

lathe

I saw the lathe yesterday, it looks to be well built with lots of thought into it, and everything fits nicely into the tool box.

I watched Bassel display his talent at the billiard table and afterwards chatted a bit. Great way of spending an afternoon. :)
