Top 10 Billiards Song (Lyrics) and Music Videos

Most of us love the "Werewolves of London" scene in The Color of Money. But what about songs that are specifically about billiards? Or music videos that focus on billiards?

After listening to the lyrics to "Maggie May" by Rod Stewart, I put together my Top 10 Billiards Song (Lyrics) and Music Videos.

Thank you for sharing. That was the first time I ever seen the original Bad to the Bone video. Didn't realize Willie Mosconi was in a music video.

Rack 'em up by Johnny Lange, although my favorite version is a cover by a band in the Netherlands called Big Max.

"What a Pool Believes."
"Won't Get Pooled Again."
"The Pool On the Hill."
And, "Ship of Pools" by the Dead.

Free Bird.

Not because it is pool related (it's not), but because that's the only song title every drunk or half-drunk pool player can remember when confronted with the staggering number of choices of a digital jukebox.

So, on any given evening here in North Texas expect to enjoy the long, long, and extra long version of Free Bird at least twice, and sometimes four times, in a three hour pool session.

I hardly ever get to the pool hall any more, but I can still hum the Free Bird guitar solo:
Da ti da
Da la da dah ti dah
Da la da dah dah dah
Da la da dah ti dah
(up an octave and repeat)

The problem with popular or even great songs is they get in your head and stay there for days. da la da dah ti dah...
