Top 3 bankers in the world?

What year was this?? I've watched em' all and don't remember anyone running 13, any year. Maybe I'm just getting old and forgetful. I too, like Truman's game but don't remember any 13's in the DCC ring games!

2002 DCC, it was against Daulton.. Shannon led 1game to 0 and Truman ran 5 and out twice then 3 balls......total of 13 in a row

That sounds like it was in a match not the ring game...

That's what I was thinking too Jamie.. Definitely not a ring game.. I've witnessed several players running out like that. Saw JB do that to Tommy Stevenson a couple of years ago! He got lucky! :D

It was in a match. I believe it was actually against Corey Deuel but I can't remember. I have the accu-stats VHS... The first match is Hogue v Deuel and the second match is Hogue v Daulton, so it could have been against either of them.

Nah

bill gates/warren buffet/oprah

I like Warren Buffet over Bill Gates. Warren made his money, working and buying business's. Bill just did the software, and lets someone else invest all his dough. As for Oprah, she ain't close to 3rd. There are at least 5, maybe 10 more ahead of her.

The names that have gone over some people's head here as obviously jokes, is pretty hilarious......

I'd like to believe that most of us were just trying to ignore the jokes. Not that I'm above the jokes.

Freddie <~~~ was ready to put Wells Fargo but it just wouldn't have been very funny (or true)

Some obviously didn't get them. (not including you in this group)

Along the same lines of this thread.....I'd like to know who you all feel is the top banker up here in the northeast? We don't play the game much, and I can't ever remember sweating a banks match here, but I really want to start playing the game myself.

Learning the game over the years, I have gone the standard progression of 9ball, 14.1, 1 pocket, now I'm ready for banks....I have always just found the best player I can and go play them to learn....but I'm not commuting to Kentucky! :)

thnx,
G.

It's not that far of a drive, and we're great people, lol :)

Freddie,
I thought you were going to say, sam Walton of the Walmart clan. Not to mention Justin Hall. Chase is good too!

Houge ran 13 against Daulton not Corey. altho they are both on the same DVD

I need a Lock Society Name!!!!

I think Brumback, Murphy and Daulton. I think those 3 because banks is their preferred game. If Bustamante and a number of other pros decided to make banks more of a priority, they'd likely enter into the conversation.

Hogue, not so much. He's so jealous of Brumback's talent he won't even let him play in a local tournament he's managed.

Banks

I think banks should get a lot more attention as it is very exciting to watch and levels the playing field. I would much rather watch banks and Bonus Ball.

I admit to snickering a little at the banks mentioned, but they ALL bow to the Federal Reserve. Quietly in control of more than most anyone knows!! There isn't even a pool analogy that fits....FR can give Buffett and all others combined any spot they want, and still send em all back to the stone age. :boring2:

I need a Lock Society Name!!!!
