Topeka Kansas - Places to play????

Howdy

Just a feeler, wondered if any one is from the Topeka, Kansas area and knows of some good rooms in or near (30 min or less) that has nice equipment to practice on.

I already hit the yellow pages, but no one has a website or much info about any of the rooms listed.

I'm more and enthusiast than a world beater, but I may be moving out there and wondered what the pool scene is like out there.

Best local rooms (looking for a solid playing 9' with simonis if possible to practice on regularly)

Any local tournaments?

Local leagues?

If you willing to drive 45 minutes to Olathe KS, Shooters is a great place to play. The tables are immaculate and there is plenty of action to sweat. They have a Friday night tournament that is $10 entry on the bar tables with no green fee. 1 hour of free practice before the tournament begins. Dan matches 1/2 to pot up to 32 players. The tournament avgs 40 to 50 players every week. Race to 5 on the winners and 4 on the losers. Strong fields with Dave Matlock and Mike Banks Jr playing sometimes. Great way to improve for little money.
