Toru Kuribayashi ???

Did anyone else see Toru Kuribayashi at the 2010 World Pool Masters in Vegas? He was then a relative unknown from Japan who gave everyone a run for their money and made the final table. He plays position aggressively and played some impressive safeties. I really enjoyed watching him play. I'd like to see him play some more and I'd love to see him match up against Ronnie Alcano.

He got 3/4th at the Japan Open last year too. Out of all the Japanese pros, he is the one that impressed me the most, but he would get heisted by the top tier Filipinos.

Here's him playing a solid match against Efren in the Japan Open. He lost, but played respectably. If you look closely, you can see me in the background next to the guy in the white hat (my friend).

What makes you think anybody would heist him? That guy is an animal and ive never seen him mess up.

I finished watching the whole match above. It could have gone either way. They both got some bad rolls, Efren got a lucky roll or two and the decider was the two racks Efren took right at the start when Toru barely got to the table.
