Have yet another titlist but not sure of this kind of wood. Nice decent shape early 40's Titlist though.

Palm of some kind is still my guess!

I have a Titlist conversion with the same wood I think. No one on AZ or the 4 cue makers that have seen it can tell what kind of wood it is.

Hmmmmm.... Yep, it's wood.
I'm guessing Hickory because of the way the grain swirls, but maple can do the same thing.

It looks like mahogany to me.

I've often wondered why more cues don't use mahogany. It's very stable, consistent and nice looking (although unexciting).

Mahogany eh? Interesting thought. Whichever wood it is its old and in pretty solid shape. Hehehe
