Tournament coverage style to emulate?

It's tournament coverage of a pro chess tournament and I think they do a great job. You can't have a much slower game than chess but they do a good job of making it watchable.

In a nutshell they skip between games in progress analyzing the positions and discussing options as well as providing other tournament news and updates.

Pool is a bit more dynamic so you can have more individual match coverage. But I think we can learn a lot from this.

I think Kozoom and the BBC do good jobs for cue sports, and Matchroom are in the business of making pool watchable and do a great job.

As far as jumping around between games, I think you have to do at least a full rack from a match unless there is some really unusual shot. It would take a lot of additional production cost to cover, say, four tables in a tournament.
