STR8-SHOTS has really come on strong with these TWO events.

THIS IS AMAZING.

I was looking for an event to play in this year. I'm kind of tired of going to the same events year after year. I like them, don't get me wrong but I like going to new places even more.

Did STR8-SHOTS give me a reason or two to go to this event? Let me count the reasons:

1. It is basically a weekend event.
2. It is actually two events, one for the pro players and one for the amateurs.
3. They are only adding $10,000.00 to the Pro Event.
4. They are only adding $8,000.00 to the Amateur Event.
5. The event is held at Felt Billiards where my pal, Samm Diep hangs out in Englewood/Denver Colorado.
6. My nephew and his family live in Denver. and I get to see them and visit.
7. The amateur event is $70 entry fee with a 20 dollar green fee included.
8. The amateur event is on bar tables and since I can't see anymore, I will have a chance to win a game or two, I hope.
9. I will get a chance to see some of the best pro players in the world when I am not playing in the amateur event.
10. I get to meet Kimberly Griffith and family.

Where's the LIKE button?

YeeeeeHawwwwww. Denver, here I come.

Yes Joey, they are putting on great events. They just had a $3k added event last weekend and last month was a $2500 added event. I'm excited about this and will be putting in double the practice (if that is even possible).

See you when you get here

Definitely going to this. I went to a STR8-SHOTS tournament in Pueblo, CO last year and it was ran very well.

... Given CO's new laws... this should be a VERY well attended event! In fact this might be a good topic for tonight's podcast... maybe Mark can move CSI events to CO!

This event is in an area where I have not played before so it will be fun to meet all of the AZBers who I have not met previously. I'm sure I will see some old faces too.

Bryan, I kind of feel like you when it comes to wanting to put in some extra practice for this event.

The players are going to come out of the woodwork for this event. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they fill up fast.

These kind of tournaments don't come around every day.

Are there any player auctions or Calcutta at either event?

Sucks that the Rumrunner in Vegas is the dame date and this 10k in Houston. Svb always plays the Vegas tourney and everyone else from the south will be in Houston. 128 in the amatuer will still fill for sure and only 32 pros so that will fill..Maybe this will be a good year for pool..I been looking for a reason to quit stallin ha ha
