Tournament players do you prefer

Long or Short Races in 9, Ball, 10 Ball, and 8, Ball Tournments?

I'd love to vote; however any tourament match less than a race to 11 is short, IMO.

10-Ball (races to 11)
9-Ball (races to 11 or 13)
8-Ball (races to 10 or 11)
 
Question is way to vague.

Is this a professional event?
is this a weeknight event (that perhaps you want to get home before midnight for work the next day)?
Is this a regional weekend event?
Is this for a winner take all for $1 million?
Is this for a $5 entry at the Senior Citizen Rec. Center?

Question is not way to vague, it was for people to reply to as they wish.

BTW $1 is the entry at the Senior Citizen Rec. Center, as you call it, and i don't play tournaments there as they only offer 8 BALL with very strange house rules.
