While not in the downtown area, about 15 miles away or so, Golden Fleece Billiards in the Kenmore area offers a weekly 9 Ball tourney on 9' Diamond tables with 4-1/2" pockets. It starts at approximately 8pm.
$10 entry fee. Race to 3 on the front side and back side. Note that if crunched for time, then the race is shorted by 1 on the back side. Alternate breaks.
Handicaps: Novice and intermediate women race to 2 on both front and back side. Pro-level players race to 4 on front side, and 3 or 2 (depending on the time as noted above) on the back side.
Try Malarkey's in Tacoma:
Mon: Free pool, 1/2 price food and lots of action
Wed: 9 ball tourney, break pot
Fri: 9 ball tourney
Sun: 8 ball on 7 footers
Nov 28-29 big tourney, best players from the region.

The grove tavern/cardroom in everett on evergreen way has tue. 8 ball $5.00 entry and sat 9ball $10.00 entry + $2.00 stick fee on 8 foot Valleys Red circle cue ball. Good luck. Both start at 7:30
