I did a trade with Huy Dang aka huysmall on 9/01/12, and he described his cue in nearly excellent condition in a pm, and One shaft slightly usedin his for sale thread... http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=287035&highlight=huysmall
I asked specific questions about the cue Huy was selling....
What is the condition...any dings, dents, blemishes, etc?
Are the shafts original to the cue?

My friend in USA purchased this brand new cue and brought it to Vietnam for me. The cue is straight together, and apart. I had it nearly one year ago. You know, I have some high-end cue. I played it with just curious about Cognoscenti and put it back to my collection. So it's nearly Excellent condition.
Butt: 29" long, original, straight, 16.10 oz, just a very minor dent on butt sleeve
Shaft: 29" long both, all shafts are original to the cue.
- playing shaft: 13.1 mm tip diameter, 3.69 oz, no ding, dent, straight
- brand new shaft: 13.2 mm tip diameter, 3.74 oz, no ding, no dent, straight
Hope these specs help your questions.

I received the cue, and one of the shafts was not slightly used in nearly excellent condition, and was not original to the cue..The shaft has heavy bluing, and the clear stripped off with a jagged edge you can feel.... I spoke with Huy a few times via email, and he explained that the work was done by a well-known cue maker in Vietnam, and all national, and pros players in Vietnam have this shaft work done..I explained to Huy that the shaft alteration should of been mentioned in his thread, or in pm especially after I asked specific questions about condition..
Huy has decided to ignore all emails, and pm's..It's obvious he doesn't want to work this out so I have no choice, but to warn fellow AZb members about this guy..I have a feeling he has multiple accounts so beware when dealing with anybody from Vietnam...
The Cognoscenti cue is for sale with 1 new un-played shaft for 875.00 FIRM delivered, If you want the other shaft make an offer above 875.00..I will update thread with pics, and specs soon
