So, we've all heard the proverbial stories about playing pool - and taking it up the butt right? This is a tale of it ACTUALLY happening lol.

Let me preface this tale. So, there were different tours or tournaments all of us at Jack & Jills would pack up and head to like a religion. One of those such places were the McDermott tour in Salisbury, MD at Action Billiards owned by John Moody. There were problems 30 or so of us that would go every time. For 28 out of the the 30 it wasn't really for the tournament, although we all played in it. It was for a weekend of non stop action, partying, debatury in general. I have a very funny story about a pool girl I met there but I'll save that for another time lol. Some on here already know that story.

So this one time..... I'm loading up my crew to go down for a weekend of bliss. My crew for this trip - I'll start here. Otto. This is an old man with whom I took my first lesson with some years earlier. He had fallen on hard times as most pool people do. He was homeless and would spend as much time in the pool room as they would allow. I'd poss them off by telling them to just put a table on time and I'd take care of it and he could get some good sleep in " the chair". I bought hi food or whatever - he was a truly nice, sad, pathetic guy and for whatever the reason I felt compelled to help. So I had actually taken him into my home. I had a large 5 bedroom house and gave him a place to live. For whatever reason after staying with me for a few weeks he decided it was a little too much for him and went back out on his own. None the less this was my boy and I took him on some road trips.

Next guy was " Glen Burnie Fats ". He no longer goes by this name, he has had a new street name for quite some time. He is now the The Prep of a fairly large MC Club. I Will never disrespect him because he will always be my boy and I have much love for him so I doubt it but hopefully he will smile when I tell this story. Fats was never the best player, but he was FEARLESS! He played ANYONE. There's some great stories here too but also for another time.

So we all load up and head for the Ocean. I always got a room at the Sheraton ( now something else ). It was the nicest I could find in this little hick town. ( I love hick towns btw! ). So you had better believe THE PARTY was in my room. I will forgo the names and specifics but you better believe we all were getting down hard!

So everyone is feeling good. Fats decides he is gonna get on the (coffee) table and start dancing. OK cool. Btw, fats was close to 500lbs. Yup you guessed it. We all hear a "crack"! Lol. Fats had sheet the bed and demolished the table lol. I don't care, actually found dead it VERY funny.

Ok, ok I know everyone is waiting for the pole up the butt. Thanks for hanging this long so here it is.. So we go to the go cart track just out side of OC. No, we ain't doing the puss- carts - were doing the good fast ones. Cool. So we show up. Otts wants no parts. Me and Fats are all good. I buy the tickets and we move to the track. I get on - awesome bout to have some good wholesome fun. Fats - not so much. They won't let him ride. After wedging himself into the cart the safety belt don't fit! So in the interest of fun, I go and " take care of " the attendant and fun odds back on! We go for a bit. Till, this one turn. I should say even after us winning bets at the pool hall with Fats picking up my car by hand ANDROID MOVING IT he didn't really know his strength. So Fats was going full speed into a turn; of course, and he yanked on the steering wheel and......... IT BROKE OFF IN HIS HANDS!!!!!. So Fats heads straight into the wall, no belt of course, hits the wall --- flies out of the cart and you guessed it!

Yes Fats flies out of the cart and wouldn't take know it - he lands squarely on the safety fence post ( with a coned head lol old lol ) yes it went UP his ass. We're headed for the emergency room.

So there you have it. Trashe'd hotel room, a literally pole up the but, and one of the funnest road trips EVER!!!!

Hey btw, if this offends anyone; please report.

If you were at the McDermot tournament at Fast Eddy's in Alexandria in '96....
....why the hell didn't you say hello?

'course, you might not've been there....nothing TOO drastic happened....
....though Scotty Boggs was a hoot

I'll add a little caveat. This was the first time I met Alex, Rodney, Charlie Williams, and another pro I will not mention ( because it goes back to the girl portion of this story lol ). Some of the best times of my life, no joke. Everyone partied HARD from Thursday thru Monday . Close friends got closer, new friends were made, everyone always had a blast. Sorry if some can not relate to this, but those who can you KNOW of what I speak.

Been there MANY times. Sorry never for the tour. There were two, and exactly two reasons I went there. One was for a girl in the area. The other was to bet on Danny Green when he was playing. I'll tell you what though, couple things. I still talk about to this day how that was ALWAYS my favorite pool room to chill in - with the BIG COMFY couches with the table in beteeen. Also, a bartender that hooked me up for a recipe for a drink that's called " CFM" that would subsequently serve me VERY VERY welong lol. Anyone that used to go there that knowshe the " CFM" don't give it up LOL!!!!

Hi Taul Paul! Yes Turkey has stuck it up deep in me before, but I have also stuffed the Turkey ( ask him about the " jewelry")I LOVE playing him, we always have the best time talking sheet to one another. When I got my new cue a few months ago I did give him a call and axxed him if he wanted to play $200 a game or a thousand or two a set and he declined. Turkey and I have played countless times and I am sure we will play again. The last time we played was at Top Hat, for $100 a game 6 ball and I THINK I had a $140 a game on the side and I lost give or take $1000-$1200???? As I said, always good times playing the Turk!!!!
