I built this cue as a prototype to test out my design ides for this type of cue. I really wasn't a fan of some of the other designs I've seen making a 3 pc cue. I wanted to do something that looked more natural and not out of place compared to other cue designs. The cue plays as solid as any cue I've built, well balanced, a good player. The cue is heavy @ 21oz, I don't mind a heavy cue! The balance point is in a normal position even with the heavier weight, the cue feels lighter than it is because of this, at least to me..lol

Cue fits nicely into the extended pocket on my cuetec case. (pictured)

The cue has been used so I've priced it accordingly.

Specs
Butt 12.5oz
Mid 6.3oz
Shaft 2.2oz
Total 21oz

Balance point 18 from bottom of butt cap

Very nice Dave. Just a thought...you probably could have saved a little weight if you had gone with either g10, or carbon fiber joint pins. Very cool regardless.
😎

I like the cue and the wood a lot!
Is it just sapele, or something else?
It looks denser and more interesting than that, though?
(Also, if sapele, it probably would not be that heavy?)
Per j2pac - i find a G10 3/8"-10 modified pin saves almost exactly 1 oz/ joint over a stainless pin same size.
