Travelling with cues...

I am using a Holly Spectrum 3x5 - I am curious how people travel with their cues? Via. Checked bag on an aircraft.

What case, and protective do you use?

My friend recommended getting a 3seconds case - durable and light, and then putting it inside a Kamui 'travel' bag

Curious to know what combination you use and how you travel??

(I have experience in travelling with my one piece snooker cues, I put them in their aluminium case, and bubble wrap them into a Bag made for Skiing - which, although OTT, works well)

36" wheeled duffle bag. I have fit 2 - 3x6 JB cases and clothes for one person with no problems and still under they weight limit. Can get a dufflebag from Walmart for about $40 but they usually only hold up for a couple trips. You may want to spend more if you planning on flying with cues more than 1 or 2 times

I saw Earl travels with a butterfly leather case that looks jammed with cues. Shocked nothing has broken yet as he does quite a bit of flying.

That's some heavy duty travel! I went with the 3seconds case, looks super well made, and I am toying with the idea of getting a cheap AL cues, or Kamui travel bag (could go with a cheap duffle maybe) to put it inside of.
thanks for the suggestions all.
