Treat yourselves to a great match.

That is good, I'll have to finish watching later. It was nice to see the pros missing shots like I do, albeit on much tougher equipment. Even though it's not "perfect pool", the game is usually more interesting when guys aren't stringing together rack after rack.

With the number of balls rattled, I think that the pockets must have been tightened up a bit.

Tightened up "a bit"???? Looked 4", maybe less. Any tighter, a rail shot wouldn't go.

Thanks for the heads up. Really enjoyed it, especially enjoyed no announcers and that the time between shots was cut..

Hmm…

A 4” pocket is 2 13/16” from along the rail (9/16” wider than a ball).

A 3 3/16” pocket is 2 1/4” from along the rail.

I wonder what’s the smallest along-the-rail opening that can be made. Probably depends a lot on the pocket cut angle.

Cut the pocket thusly. No further alterations needed.

lol.

The video is great - edited down to showing only the shots, 32 mins for the entire match. (9 ball race to 10.) This is a godsend for all of us very busy people who don't have a minute to waste, not even for reading important forums on the internet. (No really it's very nice.)

There's one rattled ball at 1 minute, and again at 2 minutes - watch Shane's reaction to that miss, very impressive!

I've noticed once the pockets get under 4 3/8" I miss a lot more shots.
