Hi all,
My name is SALUX (the creator of the homonymous system) and here I am again to show you another aiming system TREFX I present to your comments and verification.
First of all I’d like to thanks CJ Wiley and Stan Shuffet as my mentors and source of inspiration.
Basically my system called TREFX (=Two reference lines) classifies every shot in two types:
1) Shot with <= 20°
2) Shot with > 20°

Within every type, there are two reference lines:
1) The external edge of the object ball
2) The external or internal edge of the cue.

“External”/”Internal” means with respect to the pocket.
I attach the picture to illustrate the method.

Please try it and give me any useful feedback. Thanks

Your pivoting instructions are not clear. For the <20* cuts I'm assuming you're pivoting to center cue ball but are you using the center of the cue stick, the internal, or external edge of it? I also can't see how this would work with straight in shots or 5* or less. For >20* I have no idea of your pivoting technique. I assume it's away from the pocket but you don't explain how far to pivot.

This is basically Ron Vitello's 90/90 system, except it's missing a part or two for the very thin cuts, straight-ins, and banks.

Yes, the angle <= 20 is the same as 90/90. My proposed aiming regards the cut shots. I included also that angle for completeness.
The pivot is towards the center of the CB.
The line on the CB on which to put the cue depends on the visual of the previous step: you put the cue parallel to the reference line you found and then pivot.
Internal or external, I have explained that this term is connected to the pocket: on right cut (object ball towards the right pocket) the internal is right and external is left.
VORPAL you haven't read my explaination: as I wrote the bridge length is 3 balls from the cue.
The distance from the pocket is meaningless.
Hope this explains better.
