I will be in Kennewick working this week.Looking for a place to play.

I was there for 10 days recently and only found one place,a pool retail shop with several tables set up.This was actually in Richland but close to the motel 6 where I stayed.That place will do for hitting balls but i would like to find some action or a tourney.
 
2 bits and a bite has 3 fuzy Valleys,1 GC and an old Brunswick 9 footer.Most days its more of a drinking bar then pool bar.

They have a tourney every other Thursday?An in house league on Wednesdays.No action yet,I hit balls on the GC Tues and Weds.
 
I did some work out there a year or two ago, and played at a place called Sure Shots in Richland. It was a pretty nice place - they had 3 or 4 9-foot Gold Crowns, 2 or 3 7 or 8 footers (can't remember), and a snooker table. It was a nice place to play - not a bar scene at all either. I think they had a little cafe that served coffee and other drinks but no proper bar.

Shure Shots has downsized.

Shure shots is in the same building but moved to more of a warehouse location. No snack bar and fewer tables. Still good equipment.

The tournaments I know of in Tri-Cities are:

Friday night;
The Keg in Kennewick, 8 ball on 2 8' Valleys with felt. Starts at 7 house matches half the pot.

Saturday afternoon;
Sneakers in Pasco, 8 ball on 2 8' Valleys with Champion cloth. Start at 2. Over 12 players house matches pot.

Sunday afternoon;
Billy's Bullpen in Kennewick, Scoth Doubles draw for partners. I think it starts at 5. House matches half of pot. 2 8' Valleys with felt.

Monday Evening;
Sneakers in Pasco, 8 ball starts at 7. House matches if over 12 players.
Billy's Bullpen in Kennewick, Starts at 7. Game varies, house matches half the pot.

Wednesday evening;
Sneakers in Pasco, 8 ball starts at 7. House matches over 12.

If you are looking to gamble....I could put you in touch with players that like to gamble.

Turns out there is a pretty good pool scene here,although mostly on Valley tables.Good tourneys and lots of action.

No1 wanted to play 1 pocket here but just a bit of begging and some coercion I have found 2 definite one pocket opponents and a possible third-OK I lost money trying to play 9 ball on the bar table so they acquiesced.

I am working hard on my fuzzy-cloth bar table game but since my next job is in Belflour I need to get back into 1 hole stroke.

It wasn't long after that that they closed down and moved.I was there a few months ago and they had only 4 tables set up.It should be fully open now with all the 9 foot and 7 foot Diamonds up.I am not certain if they are going to have all the 9s in the new location but I hear they are concentrating on the 7' Diamonds.

The owner Askar does a lot for pool as does Clark with Malarkey's.
