Well, I don't know how it finished but some information is better than none. The hot seat match was going to be George "Ginky" SanSouci vs a guy named Lester from Pennsylvania, whose last name escapes me. To get to the hot seat match, SanSouci beat Frankie Hernandez. Lester ran a seven pack on the way to beating beat Joey Korsiak to reach the hot seat match.

Sorry, that's as much as I know. Oh, one other thing, SanSouci had to survive a 9-8 thriller against WPBA #12 Jennifer Barretta on his route to the hot seat match.

OK, now I've finally gotten the scoop. Coming from the "B" side, Tony Robles won the event by beating George "Ginky" SanSouci in the final. Lester was third.

Sorry SJM, Korsiak didn't play in the event. You mean Joey Kong (another fine player). I played Lester the set before and I have to say, the guy is amazing. The only games I won were due to some pretty good rolls (dead combo after the break & Lester pocketed a ball on a safety). Unfortunately, I only got two rolls instead of the nine I would have needed! I'm really surprised its the first I've ever seen/heard of him.

Quite right. John Leyman had him as Joey K in the written bracket, so I jumped to a false conclusion. Have never heard any pool player other than Korsiak called Joey K. Thanks for the correction.
