Every table is tapped whether you like it or not. Every time you break a rack its tapping those balls in place so its not a big deal either way.
But, as the cloth wears and moves so will those spots therefore it's not an ideal solution for anything outside of a home table with minimal (compared to comercial) play.
IMO, If you know how to rack , it doesnt take anything outside a decent quality rack to get the job done.
