Uh, what is a triangle shaft? Do you mean a conical taper?

No, I have not made them. I feel the triangle, anr or laminated, shafts and made with muilti-layers are to stiff. The shaft "must" have some give to it. If they are to stiff, the more it deflects. I use some ash for shafts, but mainly straight grain maple shafts. No stacked or laminated stuff for me.

There is a company that will take your shaft and make it into a triangle shape. Sorry, but I forget the name of the company.

A friend of mine tried them. He broke two of them, within a month.
Personally, I will stay with the tried and true, round shafts.
