They are .050 ths. Most who have any like to hang onto them. A little trick you can do that works pretty well is to glue up two rings next to each other (I use a .030 and a .015) nickle silver. When turning down your deco-rings the cutter will meld these rings together making them look like one .050 ring. After turning my butt to final size but before sanding, I single point my rings with a slightly dull carbide cutter that flattens the rings slightly and makes the joint between the two rings invisible. Make sure that the rings that are being turned is close to the chuck so as to eliminate the chance of any chatter.
