Trouble with using My laptop on AZ

Hi Guys sorry to post this here, but hoping to get a answer to some problems I'm having with My laptop. At first I thought this was the site having issues, but turns out I'm not having the same problems on My old desktop with dialup.

Anyway My laptop was working fine on this site until the last time the server was down, and every since then, the AZ billiards logo doesn't show up at the top of the page anymore, although the advertisements do, and the attatchments in posts do not show up unless they are a link. been there before so doesn't seem so unusual that It could MY PC or even the server, but the thing that really confuses me, is that I cannot reply directly to received PM's, and to reply I had to send a new one a couple of days ago. There are no buttons showing anymore for replying. Well now I cannot even post. Even from the quick reply, atleast I can see that, but It still won't let me use It. The problem is that there are no buttons there anymore to do that except on quick reply, but as I mentioned It don't work either, even when I'm signed in. I cannot see avatars or rep anymore either.

Like I mentioned at first I thought these Might just be some issues with the server to be worked out or whatever after the maintinence, because I wasn't having this issue on other sites or even other forums that use V-bulletin, but then I noticed others were posting, and that they were still attatching photos, I just can't view them. Doesn't matter if I'm signed in or out.

Anyway I jumped on My old Pc with the slow dial-up connection, and everything seems to work fine on It, so must be something on My laptop.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and knows what I need to do to solve It?

Did My Big mouth get My laptop banned and I just know about It I don't see anything that says I'm banned so I'm guesing It's My laptop taking a dump. I know My harddrive needs cloned and replaced because it's starting to make noises, but for the most part It still works well, and this seems to be the only site I'm having these issues with right now, but apparatly I'm the only one, so must Be My laptop. I did download some video from My camera recently, so that had me supicious when It came to HD space and the picture viewing issues, but the reply buttons on the site are missing too, and even though they are attatchments same as pictures, I can't help but wonder why all the other buttons work for navigating through the site. Afterall they are part of the Skin or button attatchments to the site too I would think. Atleast I would think the reply buttons are made of the same stuff, and stored the same way, so wonder why some work while others don't. I could see if pictures didn't load and all the buttons still worked but some buttons work while others don't even though they are part of the same skin/template.

Anway I just now tried another laptop on the same connection and It works, so I have It narrowed down to the laptop as being the problem, so I have kind of solved My own question. I guess I need to clean the HD up and see what happens. Just curious If anyone else has had a similar problem before, and has a better idea of exactly what is causing It.

If you are using Internet Explorer to access the internet I suggest you download and install Mozilla Firefox and then try it using that, to see if it is an Explorer problem.

It's strange never had anything exactly like this happen before. It's not just simply a picture issue, and nothing screams browser to me, although could well have something to do with it, maybe during an update or something. It looks more as if some of the basic elements of the forum are missing or even changed & edited by the admin on the site, as if It were on the server that way, but I know for fact It has something to do with the laptop because the other 2 that I tried are not having the same issue. when I say avatars are gone, I'm not just saying there is a blank spot where the picture should go, The whole top of a post looks as if the template was altered manually, and there is nothing showing for reputation either, as if the rep was turned off By admin. It doesn't even say reputation anywhere much less show the greenies.

Not that I think It would make any difference if the user preferences are stored on the server anyhow, and with My other computers working correctly, It pretty much tells me That's not the problem, but I already poked around in the user Cp, It's pretty basic, and didn't see anything out of place that would cause this either way.

I dumped a bunch of junk files from the HD, cleaned disk, and defragmented but It made no difference. I don't know whether I should try to go back to a older registry and do a restore to see what happens or not.
