I think I have the Walnut. It looks kinda like wood but if you want a nice looking cue, you're looking in the wrong place imo.
I bought the Cuetec so I don't have to worry about fawktards knocking my cues over and damaging them -not for the looks.
After having my player knocked down and damaged 2 weeks after a refinish from Proficient, I switched to the Cuetec.

I played in a bar league for a number of years.
Always took my $231 Schmelke and left the $1000 Troy Downey at home.
But I saw a lot of high end cues being used.

Leopard wood….walnut only if it’s burled.
Are these true wood cues, the ones made with a very thin veneer, for the forearm and butt sleeve?
Yea those are the ones. Would like to hear from people who have them
