An example of a set of Pierce Custom Cues built to exact design specifications by our dealer Billiard Bill's Custom Cue & Repair. Bill worked closely with Jim and the customer to design a set that is aesthetically pleasing and plays outstanding.
The customer always played with a inexpensive production 5" extension and had a relatively expensive set of cues already. He was let down with the way the set he already had performed. He plays roughly 4-5 nights a week in money matches, tournaments as well as leagues and wanted something that he felt was his own that could meet his demands.
Bill and the customer discussed several ideas based on his personal needs and came up with a design that features a ghost extension at the joint and quite a bit of ebony and a very rare Asian Satinwood Burl in a SW style 6 point design with a matching jump/break cue with ALL having perfectly matched triplet sets of shafts from the same board of old growth maple.
The set was finished and delivered to the owner yesterday and the owner is very happy with the outcome...
