Here are pictures of the George 2x4 that is offered and joint lift on the bar Cue. Crazy to see because the lift is very short and slight. The shaft stays on the table exctpt for maybe an inch near the joint on either side when together.

TS steel joint - details

Hello,

Looking for details on the Scruggs 4 pointer at the bottom of the photo. Weight? Shaft(s)? Ferrule material? What type of wood? Doesn't appear to have veneers, is that right? What pin? Build date?

Old Steel Joint Cue Specs.

The Steel Joint Cue has a plioted 5/16/14 pin. Old bullnose pin. The points are too high for this to be a barcue type sneakie with extras. It is built like a Custom. There is one low proing. This could be a very early custom built using a fancy wood cut blank.

Butt 14.65 ozs.

shaft 1 (orig) 3.95 oz at 13.2mm, non ivory ferrule

shaft 2 (non-orig): 3.95 oz at 12.75mm, non ivory ferrule


5/16 14 ss piloted joint w/black phenolic collars


White w/black speck linen wrap

White delrin buttcap w/ TS logo.


All is straight, together & apart
