Thank you

I put it up for sale. Then I started playing with it. Wish I did that first. I am leaning towards making it my latest bar beater. The darn thing was built exactly how I would have ordered it to spec. My specs!
This Cue has a special story.
The owner had his Scruggs Cue stolen. He lived in the neighborhood and went to see Timi. Tim knew how much the gentleman loved his Cue. He could see it was a heart breaking loss.
But what to do? He did just what any one that knew Timi well would expect of him. He handed the broken heart fellow this Cue and asked very little for it.
The last many years it has sat in a closet. The thoughts he had. He couldn't handle the thought of loosing another Scruggs Cue. After a while he couldn't take it out at all.
He talked about how nice Tim treated him. His voice sounded so very joyful remembering how Tim treated him.

RIP Tim Scruggs we all miss you,
Your buddy,
Nick Serdula

Very nice cue Nick. I have the same cue with different color veneers and it plays lights out. Just send it to me for a while and i'll teach it some new tricks. lol

This Cue does play. How well?

I sold my Scruggs Cue years ago and Mike Surber wound up with it. And he played with my baby. It was his one hole player. It was my player for years. Mike said he would never sell it. This thing hits so much like that Cue if you were to blind fold me I could not say which was which. It is like buying a Cue that you have already hit played thousands of hours with.
The answer is lights out for me.
Nick :)

Mike Surber was a good friend and coincidentally i was negotiating a deal with Mike to Buy that cue from him just before his untimely death. Some young kid ended up with it in his area but knowing that you thought so much about the playability of Mike,s cue says worlds for it. Thanks for the story Nick and play well sir.
ps That cue you have pictured will make someone a wonderful player for many years.
Bob
