Side Pockets Billiards (formerly known as Champion Billiards) in Laurel, Maryland. Tournament starts at 7:30 p.m. Single elimination and the entry fee is $ 25. Ladies get in for $ 15 and get the call 8. Races to 7.

The new owners of Side Pockets are very player friendly and have given us back the first 7 tables in the building to allow for plenty of practice room.

Just as an update. . I spoke with Steve at the tournament last night. The owners of Side Pocket are interested in adding money to the tournament if they get a consistent turn out. They've also decided to give each of us 20% off our tabs or 1/2 price burgers.

We had a total of 14 players last night so if you get the opportunity, stop in and check it out.
