Tulsa Billiard Palace Tournament

Attempt #2... post went into space somewhere.
I usually go play in the Midwest, esp if it's in Tulsa, but I was in Charlotte teaching a Pool School with RandyG, so I missed this one and getting the info second hand.
Shane Van Boening was there (excuse spelling if it's wrong) and was looking to play anyone for any amount, so I'm told. That's a pretty damn tough call in Tulsa, OK!!!
As for tournament, Gabe Owen won the One Pocket event but got in a high stakes Golf game on the snook and didn't play in the 9-Ball event.
The 9-Ball event; Shane McMinn won the tournament. He got knocked over to the left side early by James Walden but caught deadstroke and zipped through everybody including the other Shane. Sunday, he beat Petree, the cuemaker, Boening, then Spanky, Danny Harriman and double dipped Joey Gray who was on the hotseat. Six matches in a row with very few misses.
Don't know much more right now, but will post more if I hear anything.
