Tunica Photos Inside Southern Classic

AtLarge, I would have to seriously question that number. Besides, for the main event, the 10' tables weren't used. So there, we're down to 27.

I guess you could count the Accu-Stats table... and then there were a couple of tables outside the arena to warm up/matchup on... but for the tournament itself, no. I don't believe there were 31 tables. 27-28, which, I believe, is way lower than the DCC in Indiana.

Anyone know how many tables are at The Horseshoe in Indiana?

been wrong before

Lou -- The Southern Classic website has been posting information about "Current Matches," including the table number for the match. The Accu-Stats table is #31, so that supports the announced statement that they have 31 tables.

Edit: Do they ever skip #13, like hotels?

Well then I'm going to guess that some other number(s) were missing. I know for instance that they originally intended a short row of three tables on the left side of the room in addition to the two long rows, but those weren't there and they just left a bigger space in the middle of the room. So who knows. You can kind of count the actual tables in the photos I took and I pretty sure you can't find 31 9' (main tournament) tables in them.
