Got mine on Friday. Never purchased any Brazilian Ebony before. Has kind of a dark brown color to it. I got a PM back saying that they waited for the check to clear.

When you cut the brazilian ebony it gets lighter and then darkens up. Very, very dense wood but has a great tone and it does not need coring but for weight purposes it might very well need to be cored.

Well, now they have iTrader - POSITIVE iTrader!

I ordered some Goncalo Alves squares and received them yesterday. Shipping was fast. Wood was well packed. I had good communication from them during the whole transaction. The wood itself is well figured, just as I requested.

I don't blame anyone for being suspicious... Then again, did anyone try CALLING the guy before posting how "fishy" this seemed?

To be very fair. How you anyone be blamed for waiting for a check to clear?

A 5 sec search on Google produced this:

Randy, Maybe it came off the wrong way. I wasn't blaming them for waiting for a check to clear. I was just stating what happened. Communications were great throughout the transaction and everything went smooth.

I didn't think you were blaming them for that. Just thought a phone call would have put your mind at ease before posting.

None of it matters now that it is all cleared up and I'm happy it all turned out fine.
