Turning Stone Classic XIII Qualifier

Raxx Pool Room, Sports Bar & Grill in West Hempstead, NY will be holding a Turning Stone Classic XIII qualifier Monday June 29th @ 8pm. The qualifier is open to B-C-D players only. Prepaid entry fee is $40 which is due no later than Tuesday June 23rd at Raxx. Entry fee the day of the tournament is $55. First prize is guaranteed entry into the Joss Turning Stone Classic XIII plus hotel accommodations, a prize package valued at over $700. The qualifier field is limited to 32 players. The tournament format will be double elimination, races to 5, and it will be handicapped. Joss Turning Stone Classic XIII will take place at Turning Stone Casino and Resort in Verona, NY from August 20th through the 23rd. Good question. I don't know what my ranking would be either. Can people who have already signed up for the event still play? I know people who have signed up but don't have a room yet.
 
Most players have a sense of how they play compared to other players. If you haven't been ranked in any tours then try and compare yourself to someone who is ranked A-D or maybe have a top player who has seen you play vouch for you. Worst case scenario come down early the day of the tournament and I will watch you play and rank you. If for some reason a player I am ranking holds back and then plays way above that level during the tournament I reserve the right to remove that player from the tournament but I can honestly say I have never had to do that so don't sweat it too much.

As for the other question. Unfortunately if you are already signed up for Turning Stone you cannot compete in this event.

Just a reminder deadline for $40 entry is Tuesday June 23rd. Entry the day of the event is $55.
 
Upon further review we have decided to allow any B-C-D players who have already paid their entry into Turning Stone XIII to compete in the Turning Stone Qualifier at Raxx on Monday June 29th.

Therefore if a player who is already paid wins the qualifier, Mike Zuglan will refund their money up at Turning Stone plus they will win a free hotel stay at Turning Stone.

Also, the qualifier entry is non-transferrable. If you win entry and decide not to play then entry plus hotel will go to the second place finisher.
