TV show idea

I have seen ideas kicked around in the past. I dunno if this has been mentioned, tell me what you think

Make it like Man vs Food where a traveling player shoots against top locals at the beginning, show cases pool rooms and in the end plays a challenge match in whatever game chosen. Obviously editing of certain games is needed. So is a show man. A Wanderone type. Who could play the lead? It obviously can't be a guy like Shane who would stand a better chance against the top guys. It would be nice to show just how good the best really are.

Then again the Black Widow is probably the most recognizable tv pool player. Maybe Shanelle Lorraine could do it with her looks. The female aspect could go a long way playing against men.

Your thoughts?
 
The show could also:

- Showcase equipment - gets sponsors on board
- Viewers vote / submit their suggested pool house / location to visit
- win incentives for club player and visiting player
- Historical local stories from club members; best game etc...

My other idea would be to having a travelling champion like in boxing play individual matches. This would be bad for tv but good for something like TAR. Have undercards like in boxing to show case the up and coming local players. This could make for more interest and can make up for not having one single pro tour for men.
