Two Easy Steps to Run Racks!

In all seriousness (that is, this is Shuddy speaking, not Diamond Dave), when someone tells me they have problems potting game ball, I tell them to play position when potting it, even if it’s just a stop shot. The sudden switch from position and pot to just pot can sometimes be enough to knock people out of focus.

So yes, totally agree.
You competence is not in question with me. That's just where this went. Anyway some insight or maybe reinsight; when you just walk up and shoot without considering the cue ball, you ignore half the shot. You might as well play one handed on one leg. Doable but not recommended.

Hi everyone!!

This is Diamond Dave back with another instructional video. I listened to everyone’s feedback and made the video a lot shorter. This video is only three and a half minutes long, but it’s jam packed with useful information that can help you run racks with ease!!

Take your game to the next level with Diamond Dave. Steak and cheesy and make it easy!!

How big are those pockets?

4.25 inches (maybe a touch over). I know, I was shocked some of those balls went, but I keep the balls fairly clean, which helps them slip in sometimes.
Saw one shot, 3b, that wouldn't go the 4.24 GC i play on. Look bigger than that. cool video. people do need to un-think the game sometimes.

Still pretty snug.

Need to measure point-to-point. no big deal but your ruler is back some.
Ah okay, gotchya. Probably still about 11cm. As this is really the only table I’ve spent a large portion of time on, how do the shelves look?

Pretty shallow I think, here's a diamond pro-am (from Seybert's web page.)

I’d love to have a Diamond, but living in Korea, that’s basically never going to happen. The best quality table I have access to is Min, a Korean brand, which is what I have. And living on an island makes it even harder to have work done.

RKC, if you’re ever in Seoul, I’ll pay for you flights to Jeju so you can fix my table up 😉

I'd consider trading you your Min on an island in Korea for my house, wife, kids, dog, cat, and Diamond deliverability. (Though you'll need to get a couple support columns removed to fit it in the basement.)

Well on second thought, I'll keep the dog.

PS Love Diamond Dave's videos, tell him to keep 'em coming.

That's roughly 4.5. That's what they look like. Shelf looks like that on a GC. What kind of table?

Min, a Korean brand.

Point to point the four corners range from 11 to 11.3.

EDIT: Thanks to google - 4.33” - 4.45”

Just right imo. Tight without being stupid. A buddy played in Vietnam a few yrs ago. He said most tables were Min GC copies and they played really nice.

Right, I think it’s really fair. I never miss a pot and feel robbed, and I’m sometimes pleasantly surprised. Actually, more so than the 3 ball, I was a little surprised the 8 ball dropped. Pretty sure that was mm away from rattling. In my defense, the scarf and hat were pretty distracting 😂
