Two Mike Bender cues FOR SALE

A friend of mine is looking to thin out some of his collection. He owns a lot of cues and is parting with some of them to raise funds for another costly, non-pool related investment.

Anyway, as a result, he is selling two of his Mike Bender cues.

Cue: The first cue is a cocobolo players cue with black phenolic joint and buttcap. Silver railroad track rings at all locations.

Wrap: The cue features a brown, pigskin wrap put on by Paul Fanelli (one of the best leather guys in the game).

Shafts: There are two shafts, both 13mms that have seen some play but are in great condition. Both have linen-based ferrules and are 3.5oz.

Weight: The butt of the cue is 15.6oz giving a total weight of 19.1oz when screwed together.

Pin: 3/8x14 (signature Bender pin).

Going rate: $1,000. (Reasonable offers will be entertained)

Second cue is a fancy, 10-point Mike Bender. CUE IS SOLD!!!

Forearm: Curly purpleheart nose with 10 points (5 high ebony points with a thin holly veneer; 5 low ivory points). Each ebony point contains a large ivory spear inlay.

Butt section: Ebony with Purpleheart windows (holly veneer) and a large, double-sided ivory spear inaly in each.

Butt cap / joint: Both are solid ivory (extremely small chip in buttcap)

Pin: 3/8 x 14 (Bender signature pin)

Wrap: Black pigskin.

Ringwork: Fancy silver ringwork at all locations.

Shafts: There are two shafts from Mike Bender that both roll dead straight together and apart. There is also one Predator 314 shaft also 13mms and also dead straight.

They are 13mms with ivory ferrules. I believe the cue to be approx. 19 oz but I will double-check.

This cue plays better than any I have ever hit with and that is no joke. If I had the money, I'd buy it myself.

Please email me at pharaoh68@hotmail.com.

If you would like larger, more detailed pictures of either cue, they can be supplied. Thanks.
-Brian

Hey Brian,

I thot that Mike Bender only makes his points in multiples of 5 (eg. 5, 10, 15, 20 etc)?

Joel

Looks like the shorter points might be holly, as they are a different color (slightly) than the ivory inlays. Just curious.

Short points are indeed IVORY. If you follow the veneer of each high point, down to the low points, you can see the difference.

And I'm not kidding when I say that this is the best hitting cue I have ever picked up!!! It really is.

Wow

I have a Bender now thats 5 points, and it hits a ton! Michael makes the best cues. I guess i am partial to his cues as i live in Alaska.

Let me know if he will take less for any of the cues.

He gives us local guys a discount.

Thanks

Chris

Sale Pending on the fancy Bender.

Plain Bender still available (and the buyer will NOT be disappointed with it! Hits a ton!!!)
