Two shot questions..

Wei,

For shot #1 (assuming you are the white ball) 4 cushions, left side of yellow, end rail first. Hit enough of the yellow to send it behind the red and back toward the middle of the table and use just a trace of right english. (On new cloth no english.)

For shot #2 the masse you suggest is a nice idea and the half masse short angle isn't too bad, but the cross-table (3 or 4 long cushions) looks perfectly straightforward.

Yeah, I don't get that part, Wei, something we're missing in the diagram? You can see a masse shot like that and make a reasonable attempt at it, so obviously not your first time at the table. The cross table you never considered at all? Seems like option one to me, much easier than any masse, and like mbvl says, it's a two way
 
Shot 1 is a 2 way shot with reverse. bobprobst shows one and the other is the long rail being the second rail.

Shot 2 is a short angle center ball 1 tip low smooth slow stroke.
