:o Zack,
I feel your pain. But, like they said above, you're doing the right thing. I hope I can meet you this next year and compare all the cues we want to own someday!

That sounds great. It'll have to be between semesters though...lol. Perhaps I can talk you into letting me hit with one, or both, of your Hercek's!

I'm going for a B.S. in Biochemistry. I haven't decided if I am going to go to grad school, med school or just stay in the technical industry (I currently do desktop support). I definitely think I'm making the right decision and I still have two playing cues and two jump breaks that I am going to try to hold onto at all costs.

Zack,

How funny.....I have a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Chemistry. What am I doing? Working for a health insurance company doing compliance work. :)

Sorry. When I replied to that I was still kind of loopy from Valium. Had my wisdom teeth cut out. LOL. In fact, I'm still a bit loopy on the pain killers, but life is good.

Figure out what you want to do professionally and then you can decide if you want to go to Grad school. These days it seems like you don't need grad school as much...and experience is what pays off. Obviously having a good work ethic, etc, etc is important as well.

I've had my eye on Zack's Amboyna Skip since the first time he posted pics of here on AZB. Can't wait to receive the cue. Thanks Zack!

You got a date, big boy! lol

I'm thinking I need to attend the WPBA in Peoria next year. Check the dates with your calendar.

Oh, I'll definitely be at Peoria next year!! I'll have some cues too so as not to be the butt of any more jokes...lol.

Wow, those did sell uber-fast.

Out of curiousity, which cues did you end up keeping?

I'm keeping the fancy Skip that I designed, the WPBA tribute ER pair and a Gilbert J/B.

You're quite welcome. Thanks for the purchase! Perhaps when I finish school and stuff we can work a deal the other way around?!

Yeah, I'll eventually figure out what I want to do when I grow up. I'm kind of half-way thinking about getting off my arse and losing the weight that I need to lose and then go into business for myself as a weight loss consultant/trainer. I can always keep a job in the technical industry as well. Who knows?! Too many options.

Yeah, I was going to get a minor in both biology and chemistry but then I decided to just get it over with. I figure with a degree in science and my computer background there should be a few options for me...lol.
