does anyone out that way know if they are still having the big tourny at the brass star in tyler,tx.......last one i went to was a little over 11 grand in total payouts for calcutta and tourny.....and believe it or not they would run it in 2 days.....64 players on 7 bar tables and the owner would let you stay and match all night if you could handle it.......juston coleman

the bar is part of a hotel and is on the loop that goes around tyler......you cant miss it ...it is at a major location......i used to live out there and played alot at fast freddies.....where do you play and whats your name we might have played......juston

This is a good tournament, I played in it about a year ago. The caliber of players was pretty good. Players from Dallas, Waco, Austin, New Orleans, Sa, were all there. I will call later today to see if they are still having it and inform uall.
