Typical cost of epoxy coating for 650sqft garage?

If there is never going to be cars on it, could you just put some laminated plank down? Wouldn't have to actually go under the actual garage door, could stop just short of it with some edging. Lot nicer standing on, and when the balls occasionally fly off the table.
Slatemans floor looks really nice though.
I was going to go this route, but the floor has a definite break and slope towards the curtains for drainage. So I was faced with leveling the floor. I decided on the Epoxy. I can pull the curtain back around by the table and still open the garage door (opener is on the side of the door rather than the middle). So I still can call this a garage...

I had a quote for a 550 sf garage was right at $3000. I'll probably tile it instead when I have time.
Had a friend in southern Texas near Progresso, in a gated golf course community, that tiled his garage. It really was pretty neat, no floor drains to worry about. He did park his customized golf cart on it though. For the most part that was their car down there.
He tried in the worst way to get me to buy a place by him, but I had no interest in golf and fishing was about an hr away.

Check out The Garage Journal forum's flooring section - lots of good information on epoxy and similar floor coatings and what to look for as far as getting a quality installation.

I had a few guys come in to quote me for having the floors in a new processing area epoxy coated. We've done that in other places I worked and it makes it much easier to clean, and makes the whole area look better. One of the sales reps kept pushing another coating, I think it was urethane or something like that, and said it was better since it bonded with the concrete better. No bubbles, and much easier to patch or repair when stuff happened, and at work, it always does. When I asked the other reps about alternative coatings, they all knew about the option, but said that they thought I wanted epoxy. Not sure what I can read into that, but the urethane was cheaper. I left that place before anything was initiated, so I can't speak to how that went, or durability, but there are options besides epoxy.
