What happened to the plan of a year or two ago that required all monies to be in escrow before the tourney started? Did that ever happen and did it work?
I attended all but one or two Opens and loved them all. Please don't give up Barry.

Wayne...The entry fees were escrowed. It was the $60K added money that Barry was short...and that's how much he ended up stiffing the players for (some players may have been paid since then). I don't know if SVB's check, for winning, is any good yet, or not. BB needs to just collect entry fees, and pay them out, like any other tournament. Screw the added money...the players will still show up.
