This is easy I thought as I filled out the event predictor.

I was about to press the enter button and thought hold on a minute.

Wait and see what the Betting Zone tips are first.

They went for 50/1 Stuart Bingham E/W.Not my idea of the winner though.

My first thought was John Higgins but defending champion,is he in form?

Selby aint NO 1 for no reason,could see him win also.

Williams is not to be ignored and Robertson and Ronnie could win.

Murphy and Trump wouldn't suprise me if they won.

The betting market suggests that bookies don't know who will win either.

So all bets are off and may the best man win.

Looks like a great tournament.:wink:

I thought at first John Higgins would win this tournament but with the shortened format I changed my mind and gave the nod to Mark Selby.

John Higgins facial expressions remind me of Stan Laurel and tonight Oliver Hardy would have said to Stan," Well,that's another fine mess you gotten us into.didn't you !" :DJohn big upped Steven Maguire in the papers as being too good a player to have won so few tournaments.

I thought wouldn't it be a laugh if Barry Hearn gets back from the Mosconi Cup and asks,"Right Who won the Snooker while I was away?" and the answer was,Oh Mark Allen.:grin:Oh to be a fly on the wall if it happened !

Does anybody else think that Ali Carter looks like Hazel Irvines secret lovechild ?:D

That result say that the PTC tournaments are working for the underdogs and that's good for Snooker.Barry Hearn will get it right given time.

As Sean says the PTC has sharpened up the players.Yeah out of the practise sessions and onto the matchroom tables.Great for the fans.

Outdoors we got blasted with gale force winds of up to 135 mph in places.

Indoors I had a great time,Snooker on the TV.Mosconi Cup and darts on the computer.I thought Mark Allen was going to bottle it at one point but he held his nerve well for the win.Juicy Semi Final line up.:wink::thumbup:

The semis are best of 17.
Let's see how Mark Allen goes in the longer race, seeing how he has been b****ing about short matches - that he has been winning. :D

Final on Sunday is best of 19.
