I just turned on the stream, I didnt have time until today.

Wow what a great event, the players are all dressed very nicely, great stream(two tables!!!), good commentary. I didnt know much about this event other than it was this weekend. I'm really impressed with everything.


thanks to all the people who made it happen and to all the players.

more events like this and pool will get some legs under it again. we need a movie damn-it!!! that would fill up the rooms again.


Now that the ecomomy has been bad for 4 years pool seems to have made a little bounce back this past 12 months, I hope it keeps gettting stronger.

Awesome tournament, classy players.

I just got back from watching the first 2 days of the tournament, and wanted to mention a few players that were gracious enough to entertain my 11-year old son's requests for autographs and pictures:

Johnny Archer
Shane VanBoening
Mike Dechaine
Stevie Moore
Jonathan Pinegar
Rodney Morris
Thorsten Hohmann
Dennis Hatch
Alex Pagulayan
Corey Deuel

All of these gentlemen are champions away from the table as well as on. Johnny and Mike took extra time to talk with us; Shane and Thorsten stopped for pics as well as autographs immediately after losing a match and still were cheerful and gracious; Rodney, Dennis, Alex, and Corey were very friendly; and can't say enough good about Stevie and Jonathan. Stevie thanked us for rooting for him after a hill-hill win over Roger Griffis (nice to see the original Rocket playing), and Jonathan told our son he won the match over Strickland for him. Hennessey has some new fans!

I'm sure many of the other players would have been equally gracious had we found the opportunity to approach them, but these guys were exceptional. I'll try to offer some comments about some of the other players and matches later when I have more time. Jeremy Sossei made a big impression....:thumbup:
