My friend and I were having a lot of fun with this deck of cards/practice game but a question came up. First of all, to clarify, I am talking about this item here:

The question that came up was that on some of the cards it definately starts with "play shot as indicated, then do XYZ, etc". On other cards, it just says "get XYZ done" and even though it shows a path for the cue ball to take, it doesn't say "play shot as indicated".
My friend had the card where you had a ball in each corner pocket on the same end of the table and all it says on the card is "make both balls with one shot". Now on the card it clearly shows a path for the cue ball where you hit the first ball and hard stun it directly over to the other ball hanging in the pocket. Instead, he hit the first ball thin and went up and down table to get the second ball in ... saying that since it didn't expressly state "play shot as indicated", as it did on many of the other cards, you were given the option to play it any way you wanted to as long as you achieved the goal stated on the card.
What do you think?
