Ultra Rare Schon

I'm selling this cue for a friend that I originally sold this cue to back 10 years ago. I've never seen another one like it, maybe the Schon experts can chime in to as exactly what we have here. The story is that cue was custom ordered by a Memphis player of some not, I believe it was James Christopher, but I could have that wrong. It has some miles on it, the butt is dead straight and the finish has held up very well, leather wrap is in great shape and all inlays are ivory. The shafts both measure about 12.5 and both have slight bobbles when rolled, I think people like to call it taper roll, whatever, they are not perfectly straight but both hit just fine. One shaft is a 30 inch, and is stamped Schon 12.75 on the collar, it doesn't show up in the pics, but it is there. The cue is heavy, weighs right at 21oz, I'm sure it could be lowered but I haven't checked the bolt. This in my mind is a very cool and quite rare cue, it is not perfect pristine and new, but I think overall it is in good playing shape and with a couple of newer full size shafts, it would be a showpiece in a schon collection. NO TRADES, it is not my cue and my friend is looking for $1200.00, make an offer you never know. I don't like being the middle man, but this one of my very best friends and I'm just trying to help, I can answer most any questions.

I don't think this is the one that James Christopher owned, but it could be.
The original was stolen and then Evan made another one for James at a later date.

I know who owns the second one made for James here in Memphis.
The design on the one I see regularly, is a traditional point design with razor blade inlays in the butt sleeve.
It also says Sniper on the butt cap.

This could be the original one and the second one was a different design. IDK.
Haven't seen James in a while.

Cool story, I haven's seen James in a while either, I got this cue from a friend of mine in Memphis that used to sell quite a few cues. He introduced me to James at the Rack back in the mid to early 90's but I don't think James still played Schon cues then, not really sure.
