Hi all,
I used to work at this pool hall in Daytona, FL back in the early 90's.

I am trying to connect with the people that were hanging out there during that very cool time of my life. One of which was one of the bartenders, Big Jim.

I did call there, as they are still open, and talked to my old boss, John Gureckis (great guy) but he didn't know about Jim.

If anyone reading this post hung out at Waldos, it would be great to reconnect again with you.

I played there four or five times in the 90s when I roamed all sections of Florida playin pool. Was a good little place.
 
i played there from 2002-2004. cool pool room with a great set of characters. this was my fist non-smoking pool room, and to my surprise i liked it. i had to leave in 2004 when Charlie stayed just off the Atlantic coast for 6 days. i became a refugee for a couple of months after that. i had good memories of the pool room though. good luck.
 
Daytona

My wife is from their around that time period an her first husband. Their names are Ashley Bailey she worked at the ocean deck an oyster pub an her ex husbands name was Marty Rodriguez she said he played a lot of pool. I guess his team made it to Vegas two years in a row.

My wife knows big Jim Crosby says he taught Marty how to play. Great people she says.
