Understanding the differences in the variation of 5/16-14 pin thread

My Mizerak synthetic composite cue stick has (as I'm told) a 5/16-14 joint pin. I recently learned that there are slight changes in the thread design referred to as: standard, oversize, and "over oversize".

I'd appreciate learning the specifics about these threads in all aspects. Please advise.

Sincerely,

Eric Abbott

Hi there, Michael,
I'm not in any way dissatisfied with my break cue, I'm specifically asking to learn the differences between the three variations mentioned. Can you help? I'm not sure where you're going with your response.

The differences would be how it fits on the screw. To better understand the differences you would have to know the spec's on the joint screw, that goes for pitch too
