unglamourous but functional cue case

friend of mine just gave me a snooker cue and a case to go with it. the case is "cue-vault" case and i like it. it aluminum tubing with a simple brass screw-on that has a rubber seal around the lip. this sucker MUST absolutely seal out humidity if that's a concern of yours. i like its simplicity as it's not so austentacious as the cases being made today. no pouch,,,just looks like a case for architectural schematics.

thing is, if you seal it too tight, it takes a muscle-head to open it.

cases, but not exactly like that. Kind of unique.
Looks more like a collector's item, rather than
a functional case in today's world of cases.

WOW I dunno about unglamorous...I think this case is really chic! I like it! Where can I get this, and do you know how much it costs?

Is the humidity thing a presumption of yours, or is there like some empirical evidence on some website about this?

there's a site, i think.

it is a presumption on my part because the black rubber seals the inside. i have a metal pill holder/compartment made to attach to a keyring and it has the same rubber thingy to protect the insides from the outside. i doubt very much that humidity will enter.

this thing is difficult to unscrew because it sticks and as you can see, the lid is flush with the tube and there's nothing to grab onto.
